T400 Automatic Envelope Opener

The latest addition to the 'Total' range of mailing machines is the T400 Desk Top Automatic Letter Opener, which operates at 24,000 items per hour, up to C4 size and 8-10mm thick. The opening method is by slicing one edge of the envelope which creates no waste, and was often the cause of blades jamming on other machines.

With the large feed table, larger envelopes are easily handled, and a front feed guide helps to ensure the accuracy of cut by keeping envelopes running correctly.

Since the equipment is designed and built around a rugged internal steel chassis, but with moulded covers and safety covers, the noise level is one of the quietest in the market, allowing the system to be used in a tiny mailroom or an open plan office with minimum disturbance.

The 6060 is designed for the highest workload, accurately milling the edge of the envelopes away with minimal damage to the contents. Running at speeds of up to 40,000 items per hour, this machine gets the day off to a good start.

The 7070 is built to the same robust standard as the 6060 above but also incorporates a reverse conveyor stacker that holds up to 1000 envelopes for continuous throughput. An optional counter is available.
